Quality Childcare from 2 to 11 Years
Welcome to Osbaldwick Children. We are an independent organisation located in Osbaldwick Village on the eastern side of the City of York offering quality childcare for children aged from 2 to 11 years.
Our childcare provision includes a playgroup, a toddler's group and Out of School Club, consisting of a Breakfast Club and After School Club.
Exciting Activities and Lots of Fun
Our aim is to offer a high quality provision of care and education, which is exciting, motivating and challenging to all children through their play.
Our Playgroup, Toddlers Group and Out of School Club offer a warm, friendly welcome to you and your children. You are their first educator and through our close partnership we will encourage your children to develop and progress at their own pace and level of ability.
We are a happy and enthusiastic team providing exciting activities and lots of fun for your children.
Osbaldwick Children is located in a separate annex within the grounds of Osbaldwick Primary School. The village of Osbaldwick is situated on the eastern side of the city of York, just within the boundary of the A64 and less than a mile from the University of York.
A Fun-Filled and Stimulating Environment
Osbaldwick Children moved into a new building during the summer of 2011 which has two bright, colourful playrooms. In one room we have a cosy quiet area for story time, a cheerful and well equipped role play area and large floor space for free choice of activities.
Our second room has a large area for sand and water play and our more messy activities! On the opposite side of the room is a computer with educational games and a large floor area for construction activities such as train tracks building and towers of building blocks!
We have three small toilets with little wash basins and a bright, clean changing area for the little ones. We have a large private disabled toilet and separate fully equipped kitchen.
Outside is a large secure area with a grassed and tarmac section surrounding the building with brightly coloured shapes and patterns painted on the floor. The doors to the outside are safe for the children to use and the whole area is wheelchair friendly.
